Safety and security in Hot
Springs Village is a top priority. The Village has the lowest
crime rates in the state and with 5 manned or electronically
monitored entry gates, residents can feel secure about the safety of their
family and possessions.
The West Gate is
located on North Highway 7 and is staffed 24-hours a day. The
East Gate is located on
Highway 5 and is staffed from 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. Access through
other Village gates allow entry only by computerized identification cards.
The Village has
four fire stations located strategically throughout the area and a fully
staffed police force is resident inside the
Village with deputies covering both Saline and Garland counties.
A Village Animal Shelter is
responsible for picking up stray animals and advising property owners about
nuisance wildlife. The Animal Welfare League oversees the adoption desk,
promotes the shelter, and provides funds for veterinarian bills. |
